Quote of the Day

Republican John McCain, writing in the Sept/Oct 2008 issue of Contingencies magazine, gives us his plan for solving America's health care crisis:

"Opening up the health insurance market to more vigorous nationwide competition, as we have done over the last decade in banking, would provide more choices of innovative products less burdened by the worst excesses of state-based regulation."

So, the Arizona Senator wants to do to the health care industry what he and his Party have done to the financial industry.  Nice.
