George Will, conservative columnist, political commentator and long-time water carrier for the Republican Party, speaking today about John McCain's handling of the financial crisis, on ABC's This Week With George Stephanopoulous:

"The question is, who in this crisis looked more presidential, calm and un-flustered? It wasn't John McCain who, as usual, substituting vehemence for coherence, said 'let's fire somebody.' ....and then picked one of the most experienced and conservative people in the administration, Chris Cox, and for no apparent reason... It was un-presidential behavior by a presidential candidate."

The Face of Experience

Here's a shot of Republican Sarah Palin, posing at a recent photo-op.  

In the meetings which preceded this photo, Republican Palin used her extensive foreign policy experience to negotiate a reciprocal moose-hunting agreement with a group of fearsome looking Vikings. 

...and you doubted she had foreign policy experience? Oh ye of little faith!  Seeing is believing.

In a related story, Republican John McCain was overheard asking a member of his staff, "you mean there are still Vikings around? Do they really have their own country... you know, like the Czechoslovakians do?"
