A newly released series of polls from Big Ten Battleground gives this astounding result:

Indiana:  Obama 51%, McCain 41% !

Other Big Ten polls released this morning:

Ohio:  Obama 53%, McCain 41%

Pennsylvania:  Obama 52%, McCain 41%

Wisconsin:  Obama 53%, McCain 40%

Michigan:  Obama 58%, McCain 36%

Minnesota:  Obama 57%, McCain 38%

Iowa:  Obama 52%, McCain 39%

Wow!

McCain Campaign Bails On Colorado, New Mexico and Iowa

CNN's John King is reporting that the McCain-Palin campaign is throwing in the towel on three key battleground states: Colorado, New Mexico and Iowa. In order to reach an electoral vote majority of 270, the Republican ticket is now going all-out for victories in Florida, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, Nevada and a very long shot come-back in Pennsylvania. 

Only by winning all six of these states does McCain have a chance at garnering the necessary electoral votes to secure the Presidency on November 4th. Talk about a 'Hail Mary' pass!

Critical Election Dates This Week: Sept 22-Sept 28

Every Monday, ElectBlue will post critical dates in the upcoming week for participating in the November election. These critical dates include voter registration deadlines and early voting information.  

Voter Registration: Voter registration is still open in all fifty states and the District of Columbia through this week.

Early Voting: Early voting is now underway in the following states: GA, KY and VA. Early voting will begin tomorrow (Tuesday, Sept 23rd) in IA.

Action: Call, text, email or talk in person to everyone you know. Make sure they are registered to vote and encourage them to early vote where possible.
